Sara has a special interest in treating neck related headache and migraine conditions. She has undertaken several professional development courses in the area and believes the neck is often incorrectly overlooked as a significant contributor to the condition. Sara is also involved with clinical trials for the management of knee and hip osteoarthritis which she has developed a keen interest in. She loves seeing the impact physiotherapy can have on the quality of life and level of function for people suffering with osteoarthritis.
Sara enjoys treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. She has a hands-on approach to treatment and a strong focus on education and rehabilitation to prevent future injury. She aims to ensure her patients completely understand their injury and how to improve their health and function in the long term. Sara is an educator and mentor for new physiotherapists and enjoys contributing to their clinical development.
Sara completed her Master of Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University in Perth. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University, in Atlanta Georgia, USA, whilst on scholarship playing soccer.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys gardening, live music and cooking. She has recently started to dabble in sprint Triathlons.
