Myotherapy is the assessment, treatment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, which may cause muscular dysfunction and pain thus affecting movement and mobility.
Myotherapists have an extensive knowledge of anatomy, pathology and musculoskeletal conditions that can be treated including neck, back, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, foot and hand pain, headaches, jaw pain and clicking, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries, occupational injuries, and fibromyalgia.
Myotherapists have the skill and knowledge to restore your body back to optimal pain free movement using techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, trigger point release, myofascial dry needling, cupping, joint mobilisation, corrective exercise and stretching. They also prescribe preventative advice and patient education.
